this is us
Just normal...

As a couple in gratitude
We don't know why, but perhaps our path has been the right one so far. Perhaps it's because we grew up in a time when values like respect, decency, and appreciation weren't just words, but lived. A time when our parents raised us with love, showed us the importance of solidarity, and taught us to live life honestly and uprightly.
At school—even though it was sometimes strict—we learned so much for life, not just from books, but from great teachers who imparted not only knowledge but also character. Outside with friends, we experienced team spirit and solidarity, the genuine togetherness that sustains us to this day.
Perhaps that's what drives us. As a business couple, we take it for granted that we treat the people we work with honestly and with heart. We don't just want to give our customers what they need or want, but also surprise them with genuine friendliness and genuine service. We believe that it's not about feigning anything or only looking out for our own advantage. It's about trust, honesty, and being able to rely on each other – in every situation.
Perhaps these values guide us and motivate us to give our best every day. And perhaps that's precisely why we're standing here today. Yes, perhaps we've done a lot right so far.

I grew up in a family that runs a restaurant in the Palatinate region, where my father was a civil servant, and I was shown from an early age what it means to provide genuine service. I experienced how you sometimes push yourself to your physical limits—all to ensure that your guests feel completely comfortable and take home a moment full of joy and memories.
I was privileged to complete my training as a hotel manager in a very special place: the beautiful Romantikschlosshotel Fasanerie in Zweibrücken, under the guidance of the Zadra family. It was a formative time that gave me not only professional knowledge but also a passion for excellence in service.
But my curiosity about the world was great, and my heart drew me out. My first destination? London! There, I worked at the ****Red Lion Hotel, where I not only furthered my knowledge but also learned to love the English language – a skill that has stayed with me to this day.
Then friends from Switzerland came along and made me an offer I simply couldn't resist. I moved to Klosters and had the privilege of working at the *****Parkhotel Vereina. Later, my path led me to the Alpinhotel Chesa Quatasche. This time in the mountains not only expanded my professional skills but also touched my soul.
But 15 years ago, I felt my heart was homesick. I returned – to my roots and to the place that was my home.
Friends often say I'm a bundle of energy and constantly seeking new knowledge. And you know what? It's true! I love learning and developing myself. That's why I've trained with respected personal trainers as a project manager and a personal trainer for business English. Every stage of my life has allowed me to grow and make me the person I am today.
Today, I'm proud of everything I've experienced, learned, and achieved. It's been a colorful life journey full of experiences that fill me with joy and gratitude—and with excitement for everything that's yet to come!

I come from a family where work, responsibility, and togetherness have always been a top priority. My parents, both business owners, showed me from an early age what it means to work on something with dedication and passion. This foundation has shaped me and shaped my path.
After school, I decided to do an apprenticeship at a hotel in Mannheim. There, I quickly realized: service isn't just a job, it's an art. It's about making people feel at home, inspiring them, and making their stay unforgettable. This time not only honed my skills but also showed me how much joy there is in being there for others.
But my curiosity and drive kept me looking forward. I took over as head of facility management in Ladenburg—a demanding role that challenged me, kept me organized, and deepened my understanding of structure and efficiency.
But I wanted more. More responsibility, more challenges, more opportunities to make a difference. So I took on the management position of a construction company specializing in the renovation of old buildings. It was an exciting time in which I learned not only how to manage projects, but also the importance of preserving old values and thoughtfully designing new ones.
Eventually, however, I was drawn back to the world of hotels. The appeal of working as a housekeeping manager in various four-star hotels was not only a return to my roots, but also an opportunity to put my previous experiences into a completely new perspective. It's fascinating how every detail—from perfect organization to the personal touch—contributes to making a guest's stay unforgettable.
All of these jobs have shaped me. Every experience, every challenge, every success has shown me that life is about constantly daring to try new things and putting your whole heart into them. I'm grateful for my path and excited about what lies ahead. Because I've learned one thing: There's always more to discover, learn, and achieve!
